In the alchemy of the heart,

We find the elixir of love,

The first ingredient is patience,

For love cannot be rushed,

It must be nurtured and tended,

a delicate flower in bloom.

Next comes understanding,

To truly know and appreciate,

Compassion follows closely,

For love is not a selfish act,

It requires us to be kind,
